Rockstars in the Round, inspired by Nashville’s Writers in the Round, is a songwriter showcase with a twist – everyone on stage is the lead singer of an independent touring band. Enjoy a night of songs and storytelling, impromptu harmonies, and collaborations. Witness the stripped down acoustic versions of the artist’s hit songs followed by performances by the Lisa De Novo Band, The Abbey Elmore Band, along with a few collaborations and surprises!
Lisa De Novo is an award-winning singer-songwriter from Charlotte, NC. Lisa started writing songs as a child and has been a full time independent touring artist for almost a decade. Lisa De Novo formed her pop/rock blues infused band “The Lisa De Novo Band” in 2016. Their songs range from laid-back blues jams to high-energy rock songs. They have played two independent coast-to-coast tours, playing in 17 states. Their songs have been played on 106.5 the End and streamed by 65 countries. Their debut album - The Big Bang - and EP - Sunflowers Showers are out now on all streaming platforms.

The Abbey Elmore Band, fronted by singer-songwriter Abbey Elmore, delivers a blend of different styles that appeals to a wide range of groups and is appropriate in a variety of settings. Abbey's music, primarily acoustic pop mixed with folk and rock, has a warm laidback sound and conveys a message of love and positivity. The band has played at various clubs, bars, and festivals throughout the southeast and they released their first full length record in 2016.

Cam Brown, songwriter, lyricist, creative leader, and frontman of Charlotte based band Of Good Nature, shapes OGN’s music with the precision and passion of a devoted craftsman, while paying homage to his influences like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jack Johnson, Stevie Wonder, and Amy Winehouse. His distinctive voice—described as powerful, jazzy, and articulate—pairs with his songwriting centered around the acoustic guitar. Cam grew up immersed in the alternative and pop radio hits of the 90s and 2000s, and in an era where all music became readily available. He soaked up a vast range of influences, blending them into a unique style that bridges timeless artistry with contemporary accessibility. Whether writing feel-good tunes, channeling funky rhythms or delivering distorted guitar solos, Cam brings depth and brilliance to the foundation of OGN’s music. His powerful stage presence and soulful melodies captivate audiences all over the United States.

Jeremy Davis, the creative force behind Elonzo Wesley, is a singer-songwriter based in Charlotte, NC. Raised on a farm in South Carolina's lowcountry, his childhood among the woods and fields deeply shaped his artistic voice. Rooted in Americana, Davis blends the timelessness of regional folk traditions with the fresh perspectives of modern indie music. His songs reflect a reverence for the beauty and sorrow of the past while embracing hope for a brighter future.
Elonzo Wesley has shared stages with acclaimed acts like The Devil Makes Three, Susto, Mipso, Greensky Bluegrass, and Shovels and Rope. The group has also graced prominent festivals, including Tuck Fest, Shakori Hills, Virginia Creeper Fest, and Brewers & Music Fest, while independently touring across the United States.
