Appalachian Roots Reggae act Rastacoustic is excited to announce our second annual Bob Marley birthday (Earthstong) celebration hosted by The Visulite Theatre!

 

Join us on Friday Feb. 6 at 8pm (doors open at 7) for an astonishing night of high energy positive vibration as we celebrate the life and legend of the iconic Bob Marley. We will be honoring his legacy and the revolutionary, timeless, and powerful music he and The Wailers created, and through which they inspired humanity to believe in and adhere to the One Love philosophy. Tickets will be $10 in advance or $15 the day of the show. 

 

Rastacoustic, out of Boone, NC, is a captivating reggae ensemble combining traditional roots reggae with their own distinctive style of jazz, funk and jam music. The band’s eclectic influences range from the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina to the Blue Mountains of Jamaica, creating a one-of-a-kind musical experience. Rastacoustic’s four well-seasoned musicians include Peter Brown (Keys, Guitar, Vocals), Justin Butler (Guitar, Vocals), Kevin Freeman (Bass), and Lucas Moomaw (Drums, Percussion), who have collectively performed all across America, Canada, the Caribbean, and Japan.
