Conceived in the daydreams of adolescence, Deaf Andrews is more than a collection of passionate musicians. It is the product of five long-time friends making music that means something to them, and hopefully anyone else listening. Consisting of Nick Hayes (Vocals), Mike Sherrard (guitar), Ross Schumann (bass), Andrew Kingsley (guitar) and Braedon Nelson (drums), the group has blossomed from their roots, into a unique sonic flower of indie pop rock.
From their 2019 single, "Justified" to their debut album "Saturday on Saturn'', Deaf Andrews has continued to push the limits of their creativity and emotional tuneness. Making it a priority to capture some of the magic energy that fuels their live shows, the sound is organic, direct, and channels the essence of true rock and roll while also exploring the experimental freedom of modern indie pop. "Saturday On Saturn'' strives to capture the human element that makes music so special. Focusing on themes of escapism, mental sanity, and personal relationships, there is something very genuine about the songwriting on this release because it borrows from personal experience while also connecting with the audience in an infectious way.
Deaf Andrews is based out of Charlotte, NC and is actively booking for 2023. "Saturday On Saturn'' is available on all streaming platforms.
Endless musings about identity and the human condition, meet hooky, high-energy indie pop. Since their formation at NC State in Raleigh, NC, Tyler Ford and Chaandmon Croft of By George have traveled all over the East Coast honing their sound at house shows and venues, and are now working with Dan Gleason of GROUPLOVE on their new EP, set for release in the fall of 2023.

The band was formed in 2017 when songwriters Evan Delp and Bob Magee met at college. The two bonded over a shared love for artists like Judah and the Lion, Young the Giant, and Declan McKenna and soon began to write and record tunes together.
After releasing a plethora of DIY projects and receiving a viral shoutout from YouTuber Jenna Marbles, the band added drummer Blake Hunter and began playing live shows across the southeastern United States. This new emphasis on live performance directly inspired their first full-length record, Sun Showers (released in August 2022), which was self-recorded between their dual hometowns Columbia and Charleston, SC.
This debut effort was heralded by South Carolina music blog Extra Chill for its composition of “bright, clean guitar, delicious drum kicks, layered vocals, a tiny bit of beach-dazed reverb, and just enough noise". Author Kate Bryan went on to commend the album’s “textured cohesion” when “experienced as a whole”.
Joined by bassist Paisley Marie, Homemade Haircuts will expand touring across the USA in 2023.
